DMAE Restorative Cream

Just like any living organ, the skin requires certain nutrients to maintain, restore, and repair itself, and its sponge-like ability to absorb and use elements which are applied topically means that these nutrients can be supplemented by smoothing over damaged skin. Our DMAE Restorative Treatment Cream, along with a well-balanced diet and plenty of fresh water, can help nourish the skin.

We are confident in the science behind this formulation--the product was also well received when we sent it to the 2015 Oscars.

Here are some components of this powerful formula:
  • DMAE: DMAE is a nutrient found naturally in our foods. It contains important and proven ingredients for skin, and collagen support for repair and maintenance, as well as having positive influences on red blood cells carrying oxygen to the tissues. DMAE is also a membrane stabilizer, which helps in preventing age spots. A 2005 study found that topical DMAE applied daily for 16 weeks was "safe and efficacious in the mitigation of forehead lines and periorbital fine wrinkles, and in improving lip shape and fullness and the overall appearance of aging skin. These effects did not regress during a 2-week cessation of application. Beneficial trends were noted in the appearance of coarse wrinkles, under-eye dark circles, nasolabial folds, sagging neck skin, and neck firmness."
  • Vitamin Ester C: Vitamin Ester C is a proven antioxidant that helps to prevent free radical damage in all environments. Because it is fat-soluble, has a neutral pH, and is non-acidic, it is non-irritating, making it ideal for those with sensitive skin. Oregon State found that "topical application of vitamin C, alone or in combination with other compounds, may result in greater photoprotection than oral supplementation because of the more direct route of administration."
  • Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA): Alpha Lipoic Acid is widely used in cosmetics, and for good reason--ALA is 400 times more potent an antioxidant than Vitamins C or E.The British Journal of Dermatology studied 33 women for 12 weeks. All of their testing measurements found statistically significant improvement in those who had been treated with ALA.
  • Glycolic Acid: Glycolic acid is an exfoliant that works to minimize large pores, while reducing the appearance of scarring and skin discolorations. The journalDermatologic Surgery found that glycolic acid reduced irritation in UV-burned skin, and provided minimal UV protection when applied 3 weeks prior to UVB exposure.
